Guidant Group is excited to introduce Arjen ‘AJ’ Althuis as our Vice President of Consulting Services. As leader of consulting services he is charged with expanding and developing our consulting portfolio and enhancing delivery to clients and prospects. Additionally, he will drive the international expansion of our solutions.
Mr. Althuis brings to Guidant Group over fifteen years of experience in HR Consulting, HR Strategy & Management, and Business Development. During his international career
he has worked on two continents and he has lived in three countries. His consulting
experience includes guiding his clients on global re-organizations of HR Services and
the HR organization, including establishment of shared services units in near and offshore
locations on multiple continents. Prior to consulting, Althuis worked with Nike in
Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) as an HR Business Partner. One of his main
focus areas was guiding the Operations & Administration departments through a global
SAP implementation in 40+ countries while managing a contingent backfill workforce of
over 250 staff.

Althuis is a respected leader in human resource management and is a member of the
Society for Human Resource Management. He holds a BA in Human Resources
Management from Hogeschool Midden Nederland in The Netherlands and a MBA from
the Management Centre at Bradford University in the United Kingdom.
