PRLog (Press Release) –
Aug 28, 2008 – Perennial Contractors, LLC today announced the purchase of International Contractors, LLC located in New Iberia, Louisiana. The acquisition, completed at the end of December 2007, places Perennial in a new market with substantial business opportunities.
"International Contractors has a unique business structure." Rene Poch, the owner of Perennial explained. "They recruit and provide documented foreign workers in the construction market. We believe that this purchase will provide Perennial the means to bring these experienced skilled tradesmen into the markets that need them the most."
International Contractors' staff and offices will be absorbed directly into Perennial’s organization. John Heiderscheit, President of Perennial Contractors, LLC is overseeing the transition.
"We are excited about our possibilities,"
Mr. Heiderscheit explained. "This is an untapped source of labor that can have a major impact on construction projects anywhere in the country. They are fully documented with H2B visas and authorized to work in the United States for 10 month intervals. This flexibility allows Perennial to expand its business both in terms of service lines and in geographic location."
