Nami Barrington Area To Sponsor Suicide Prevention Meeting

Meeting will focus on recognizing the signs of an impending suicide attempt and suicide prevention.

Aug. 27, 2008 - PRLog -- BARRINGTON, IL — The Barrington Area chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) will host a program entitled "Questioning-Persuasial-Referral” presented by Jim Christian from Alexian Bros. Behavioral Health Center on Thursday, September 18, from 7:00 - 9:00p.m. at the Barrington Village Hall, 200 S. Hough St. Barrington, in the Board Room. Topics to include recognizing the signs of an impending suicide attempt and suicide prevention. The program is free. No registration is required. For details, call Hugh at 847-991-1863.
