FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)Aug 26, 2008 – Press release

Is it rational to believe in something that can last forever? Could you die for it?

‘Hunting Butterflies’ is the haunting debut novel from journalist and writer David J Campbell.

Published on demand with lulu.com,  Hunting Butterflies is more than just an internal look at love and sacrifice, but at belief in general, it tries to make the western reader understand current martyrdom, in a framework of love which is the last universal belief of the west.

The culmination of 5 years work has involved David traveling through India, Europe, South East Asia and the Muslim states.

With studies in Philosophy, Psychology, Anthropology and the personal experience of his own shattered heart, David has extensively researched ancient culture and belief systems throughout the world.

Hunting Butterflies explores the notion of belief in the rational scientific western world. Using love as the allegory of belief , it asks the questions

Is it rational to believe in something that can last forever?

Should we expect love to last forever?

Could you die for this belief?

“Hunting Butterflies becomes more than just a internal look at love, but at belief in general, throughout the novel one could replace the word love with God and the relevance becomes greater, it tries to make the western reader understand current martyrdom, in a framework of love which is the last universal belief of the west.”
David J Campbell, August 2008.

David is also the editor of the online magazine JeSaurai (www.jesaurai.net)

Hunting Butterflies is now available at lulu.com
