According to Mark, many beachside vacation homes fringing the twin beaches of Guiones and Pelada are currently rented for under US$1500 per week, some, like those without a pool, are priced as low as $750 per week in the low season.
“You simply cannot find such value in more mainstream destinations like Manuel Antonio, Jaco or Tamarindo,” he says.

Visitors to Nosara should allow 6 hours if driving from San Jose, 2 hours if coming from the Liberia International Airport, Mark advises.
“Nosara is not an easy place to get to, but well worth the effort,” he reiterates.
