The inauguration of Adithya Institute of Technology (AIT), one of the new engineering colleges in Coimbatore went well on 20 August 2008. The function was well planned and well organised by the Adithya Education Trust and Adithya Industries. The inauguration function was held in a traditional manner and was open to family and friends of Adithya Education Team. The guests started thronging the college from 07.00 AM in the morning and kept coming and wishing till 03.30 PM in the afternoon. The traditional function which included Ganesha Pooja and Saraswathi Pooja was well planned and well organised. The Chairman of AIT, Er.C.Sukumaran and the Principal Dr.N.Kathiravan welcomed each and every guest with the help of the reception committee. The Hospitality Committee headed by Managing Trustee Mr.Nagarajan made sure that the guests were full in their hearts and stomach. The guests would total into thousands if counted. They included a galaxy of top industrialists, academecians and bureaucrats all of whom happened to be friends or family to the institution. Their presence, happiness and blessings would definetely go a long way towards the prosperity of AIT. In summary, the function was magnificent and memorable.
