The highly popular website kinabaloo.com, which deals with travel to Beijing and the Beijing 2008 Olympics, has been 'disabled' by hosting service Yahoo. Yahoo says that the website exceeded its bandwidth quota but all efforts to pay for extra bandwidth proved unsuccessful, with Yahoo admitting that its payment system does not work. However, Yahoo continued to refuse to put the website live, even as the Beijing Olympics draws towards a close. Yahoo also made a switch to another host impossible by preventing even FTP access to the website owners files. Although with Yahoo for some ten years, the webmaster at kinabaloo.com feels badly let down by the behaviour of Yahoo and stunned by their stonewall approach to customer care.
