Gospel magazine publisher wins coveted Print Media Award from the Gospel Music Workshop of America organization.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug 23, 2008 -
Raleigh, NC---  All of her connections were in the right place when Peggy Tatum snagged the coveted 2008 Print Media Award at the Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA), at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel & Convention Center in Nashville, TN. The award was presented at the Gospel Announcers Guild GMWA 41st Annual Session Luncheon Showcase & Awards sponsored by the Zomba Label Group.

Tatum is the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Connection Place and publisher of  which made its debut in January, 2004.  "The vision of TCP Magazine came to me from God, to create an all Gospel publication which would highlight good news from the African American community," says Tatum.  Within 3 years of the magazine's launch, she won the 2007 Television/Media Award from the North Carolina Gospel Announcers Guild and in 2008 won the same award again.

While many in the magazine industry struggle to reach their niche markets, TCP Magazine has managed to build a loyal following by being a regional publication that includes a national focus. TCP is distributed at religious conferences, conventions and other major events that reach its target market.  Advertisers of the publication also are distributors of the popular and graphically appealing magazine.

Humble in her most recent accomplishment, Tatum gives thanks to God for blessing her with TCP's success and for her greatest supporter, Ted Tatum, her husband of 25 years who also serves as the company's webmaster. Tatum also credits the firm Wizpro Creative Services for providing the magazine with its trademark sharp-edge graphic design and lay-out since its inception.

Not resting on her publishing credentials, Peggy Tatum is now on the speakers circuit, lecturing on such subjects as "Marketing Your Ministry" and "Success in Failure".  To learn more about the award-winning TCP Magazine and its publisher, visit: http://www.tcpmagazine.com .
