PRLog (Press Release) - Aug. 19, 2008 - PHILIPSBURG, ST. MAARTEN – “Contrary to what many people believe all the good black men are not taken or in prison,” says first time author Nerissa, also known online as Truly Caribbean Woman.

In her first book project, Nerissa says “there is a man ready and waiting for the woman who understands who she is and what she brings to a healthy relationship.”

The Truly Caribbean Woman’s Guide to Good Love is being made available free online for a limited time. “I am so excited to be able to share what God has taught me about becoming a woman that walks in His favor. Too many women are walking around dead in their spirits and souls because they have lived in pain for so long and that is not what the Creator wants for his ladies. This book encourages us all to let go of the pain and the past and embrace a new life filled with good love and all the promises that are ours for the taking,” declares the author.

Nerissa is a mother of four, an entrepreneur and conference speaker. She has been a contributing writer to several publications and is a features writer for Caribelle magazine and several online blogs. She is can be seen as the life coach on The Warren Cassell Show on independent and cable channels around the Caribbean and in Europe on BEN TV.

The guide offers ideas on how women can “find their worth, attract the man they need and prepare for healthy sexual relationships. It is a very personal project to be sharing because I use my own struggles to identify issues that many women are dealing with. To share it is an honor and a gift because there was a time I was unsure that I would even be alive to write it. My heart’s desire is that women will find the healing they need and it encourages them to dream again and to believe that good love is waiting to come there way.”

The free eBook is available to everyone by logging on to www.trulycaribbean.net.  Nerissa encourages readers to leave comments on her blog at trulycaribbeanwoman.wordpress.com or by emailing her at info@trulycaribbean.net.

The author is available to speak at seminars and other events to encourage healing and motivation for both men and women.
