Celebrity Golf Event to Feature numerous sports Legends, Superstars, and many Hollywood actors on August 25, 2008at Wildcat Golf Club

(Houston, TX.) – The greatest players and biggest names in sports and entertainment will tee off at the 2008 Craig Biggio Sunshine Kids Celebrity Golf Classic, presented by Prudential Gary Greene, at Wildcat Golf Club in Houston, TX on Monday August 25, 2008 at 9:00 am.
This year’s field of stars is the biggest in the history of Houston’s best celebrity golf tournament, including Craig Biggio, Jeff Bagwell, Moses Malone, Charlie Ward, Bubba Gilliam, Robert Reid, and from TNT’s The Closer: Andy Sacks, G.W. Bailey, Robert Gossett, and many more.
Wildcat Golf Club, the preferred course of the Houston Astros, Houston Texans, Houston Rockets, Houston Aeros, Houston Dynamo, and Reliant Park, will be the place for celebrity sightings, parties and superstar entertainment. The increased participation of hot, new personalities and athletes has the tournament buzz starting early.
The proceeds benefit The Sunshine Kids, a non-profit organization dedicated to children with cancer. Established in 1982, The Sunshine Kids is committed to providing positive group activities and emotional support for young cancer patients. The Sunshine Kids provides a variety of programs and events, free of charge, for kids who are receiving cancer treatments in hospitals across North America.
