As Chief Compliance Officer, Mr. Munro will oversee all aspects of the worldwide ethics and compliance program for Transocean. His responsibilities include:
• Implementing policies and procedures regarding legal and regulatory requirements, as well as ethics and business conduct.
• Communicating policies and procedures to Board of Directors, management, employees, agents, JV partners, and contractors.
• Monitoring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Reporting to Board of Directors through the Audit Committee and Company management.
• Recommending changes to policies and procedures when appropriate.
Prior to joining Transocean, Michael Munro was the Global Director of Ethics and Compliance at Baker Hughes. Previous to that position, he was the Deputy Director of Global Ethics and Compliance at Dow Chemical.
