The site was developed as a way of helipng the thousands of people in the UK who unsucessfully attempt to contact theri local Citizens Advice or are disillusioned with the solutions they may have found. For the sake of a few minutes of their time, people can produce their own Statement of Affairs and payment offers to their individual creditors. there are further letters and forms for chasing acceptance by the creditors and even standing order mandates for the individual payments.
There is ongoing improvement work being carried out to streamline the process and make it even more user friendly, but it works well and does all it needs to in an easy to understand manner. There are prompts and help files available as well as a telephone support line (the only part of the site where you get charged) as well as live chat if available and an email support request.
The more the site gets used and the better it becomes known, the more people it will be able to help. The hope is that organisations may begin to offer their support by way of endorsement or sponsorship in order to make the system more accessible to those who most need it.
