Author Tahiera Monique Brown will share a message entitled "Victimization After the Guilty Verdict: Caught Up in the Judicial System".
On August 25, 2008, author Tahiera Monique Brown will serve as the speaker for the Jefferson County Family Coordinated Community Response (CCR) at the monthly Brown Bag Series lunch sponsored by the CCR. August meeting at Gateway. She will share a message entitled, "Victimization After the Guilty Verdict: Caught Up in the Judicial System".
The CCR Meeting is scheduled from noon until 1:00 pm Central Time in Birmingham, Alabama.
Tahiera Monique Brown is President and CEO of Tavine'ra Publishing, LLC. She is a domestic violence survivor, and is the author of the book "Annihilator of Innocence".

The CCR aims to bring different agencies together to ensure the safety of victims, consistently hold perpetrators accountable, and change the climate in the community to reduce family violence. The CCR represents the efforts of a wide-ranging group of professionals seeking to implement a national, policy-based community model in Jefferson County to achieve these goals.
