For petite women searching for the perfect fit, their prayers have been answered. Sweet Petites Apparel is a fresh, innovative new company that focuses exclusively on creating and bringing to market figure-flattering, stylish, clothes and fashionable active wear to petite women, 5'4 and under. For the first time in the United States, Sweet Petites Apparel will showcase their 2009 collections at San Diego’s Fashion Week on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina in San Diego, CA.
Elizabeth Dutra, owner and designer of Sweet Petites Apparel, comments “San Diego’s Fashion Week will be the perfect opportunity for our San Diego based company to introduce our new, Eco-Chic Bamboo Casual Wear line. We’re excited as we’ve pulled together a fantastic way to showcase the line that suits our ‘powerfully petite’ women’s lifestyle way of thinking”. The collection includes ‘Baby Doll” cap-sleeve tops and tanks; matching ‘Lisa’ drawstring pants; and hooded Bamboo jackets complimented with either a blue or purple silk paisley print interior lining. Most items come in solid coco brown, light blue, and black. Sizes are available from extra-small to large.
Sweet Petites Apparel, Dry Flex active wear line, will be showcased along side its new, sister line, Eco-Chic Bamboo Casual Wear. Both collections will be unveiled during Fashion Week San Diego beginning September 28, 2008.
Fashion Week San Diego is the world’s only bi-national fashion week in existence today. The event will highlight the fashion industry that thrives in Southern California, presenting designers from both the United States and Mexico, exhibiting their Spring 2009 collections on an 86-foot runway, located inside a 3,000-person capacity tent during the week of September 28 – October 5, 2008.
The event will be held at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina, nestled at the foot of the spectacular San Diego Bay. The week-long event will consist of daily fashion shows, forums, lectures, shopping events and official after parties as well as benefiting the Child Abuse Prevention Foundation.
