NEW DELHI, Aug. 14 - A bonanza in the shape of a trip to Singapore and Malaysia awaits online teachers. TCYonline.com has launched a contest for teachers under which they have to just upload two tests daily for two months on the website www.tcyonline.com and win a free trip to these countries as a first prize. This two-month long contest will conclude on October 8.
The contest has been launched by TCYonline.com, an online initiative of Top Careers & You (TCY), an education services company engaged in test preparation and supplemental education for the last one decade.
The current contest follows a ‘thundering’
According to TCYonline.com Project Manager, Rakesh Kumar, in this contest “a teacher just has to upload two tests daily and he or she can fly to Singapore and Malaysia. The winners of previous contests can also participate in this mega event.
”Even if you miss out uploading your test on any day, you can still make up for this gap later. Overall, you should upload at least 100 approved tests during this contest period,” he informed.
Other prizes up for grabs are a laptop (second prize), a Handycam (third prize) and three mobile phones as a fourth prize. There are hundreds of consolation prizes too.
Not only that, a special prize is reserved for teachers who creates new approved categories and upload at least 10 approved tests in that category.
The winners will be selected on the basis of maximum contribution in terms of approved tests, maximum attempts/downloads of these tests, variety of tests, and quality and relevance of these tests.
It may be noted that these prizes are over and above what the teachers get paid for the tests on uploading. Only those tests would be considered which are uploaded before Oct. 8, the last date of contest entries. Teachers can enter the contest by simply logging on to the website.
TCYonline.com is India’s largest teacher-student platform with close to 1.55 lakh registered students and teachers on its website.
The good thing is while scores of teachers are making handsome money monthly, students are learning free through the platform. Thousands of free tests for various exams ranging from CBSE to MBA are available on the website.
The real turning point in the company success story came with the launch of its flagship, teacher-student platform, about a year back in India and just over a month in the US. Chances are the platform would be able to register millions of students and teachers during the next five years.
All this has been possible through extreme form of ‘customization’
