Autumn and the English Countryside

Next month sees the start of the autumn months.  Join ‘A Country Friend’ (www.countryfriend.co.uk) by supporting the english countryside by visiting a fruit farm or by supporting one of England's quirkey events.

Instead of buying your apples, plums and pears from the supermarket, why not visit your local fruit farm and pick your own.  The fruit will be fresher, you will have known where it will have come from and the local rural economy will be grateful for your support.

Why not also have a day out and support one of the many quirkey english events that are taking place this autumn, such as the

   EGREMONT CRAB FAIR AND SPORTS (WORLD GURNING CHAMPIONSHIPS), or the
   WORLD CONKER CHAMPIONSHIPS, or the
   THE APPLE FESTIVAL
