Park City, UT – Once thought of as a catering company primarily for intimate dinners, Iverson Catering is now expanding its focus to include large parties and events. Making this shift while maintaining its high standards and original style, has been paramount for this popular catering outfit. “The little details are what make the biggest difference. The food is only as good as the servers, the ambiance, flowers, everything,”
Brownell and his staff were recently chosen to cater a gala affair at Park City’s new synagogue, Temple Har Shalom. More than 500 guests were in attendance. Brownell brought nearly 45 staff members to tend to every culinary detail. Dishes served included Skewered Peaches and Plums and Black Mission Figs as appetizers and Seared Salmon Burgers and Bite-Size Smoked Lemon Rossi Chickens for main courses.
“We started out about six years ago with small, intimate dinner parties and have grown so much in the past few years that we are accommodating large events on a regular basis,” explains Brownell. “More than half of our business now involves larger parties (more than 100 people) while the other half is smaller dinner parties, cocktail parties and such. And we also do weddings,” he adds.
In addition to creating and serving the food for these events, Iverson Catering now handles event details such as flowers, venue selection, and music.
