Thomas serves as Principal Security Architect at Paranet Solutions in Plano, TX. Prior to joining Paranet, he served as Sr. Security Consultant at Verizon Business and held several senior management positions at MCI including Sr. Manager of Managed Network Services and Security based in Richardson, TX. Prior to relocating to Texas, Thomas served on assignment in Hong Hong for five years as Director of Global Accounts for MCI and later Sr. Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for Level 3 Communications.
Specialization
Thomas focuses on security and risk management services, IT strategy and data center optimization. He markets and implements the Virtual Chief Information Security Officer Program, a security services offering for mid-market companies concerned with compliance and governance but unable to justify a full time security officer. He is currently investigating the security implications of server, storage and desktop virtualization.
