Aug 11, 2008 – Pets and Vets as Partners is excited to be involved with the 7th Annual Hike with your Hound event on Wednesday, August 20 from 6:00-8:00pm at Columbian Park in Lafayette, IN.
Be sure to stop by the Pets and Vets as Partners booth to view a canine massage and veterinary orthopedic manipulation demonstration. Our friendly staff members will be on hand to pet your pooches, pass out free gifts, and answer questions. This year’s hike benefits Pawsibilities Unleashed, a not-for-profit organization that is working to raise funds to purchase and train a working dog for a Lafayette youngster. Participants are asked to make a $5 donation, as all proceeds from this event will benefit four-year-old Addy, who suffers from Dravet Syndrome that causes her to have seizures. Pets and Vets as Partners provided $300 towards the $3,000 goal to purchase and train the dog. Registration will begin at 5:45 p.m. at the Purple Shelter in Columbian Park, near the corner of Scott and South Streets.
