KnowWare International Inc. announces the new and improved Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) tool for Excel. The Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) just released the Fourth Edition of the FMEA users guide. This new FMEA tool includes all 14 of the Design and Process FMEA formats.
Failure Modes and Effects Analysis seeks to analyze and prevent potential failures in systems, subsystems and parts of any product using “Design” FMEA. It can also be used to detect and prevent failures in the processes used to create a part or deliver a service. FMEA helps create products and services that have Six Sigma quality.
