Failure Modes and Effects Analysis seeks to analyze and prevent potential failures in systems, subsystems and parts of any product using “Design” FMEA. It can also be used to detect and prevent failures in the processes used to create a part or deliver a service. FMEA helps create products and services that have Six Sigma quality.
