Follow on Google News | Flowcrete Wins Multi-Million Pound Contract at Jumeirah Lakes TowersSpecialist flooring company Flowcrete has secured an £8 million deal at Jumeirah Lakes Towers development, being built in the UAE. The project involves installation of one million square metres of Flowcrete’s Deckshield car park decking system.

The entire undertaking will take about two years to complete.” The award comes as Flowcrete continues to see major growth of its business in the Middle East, where it has offices in Dubai and Qatar. Led by Managing Director, Andrew Gwyther, Flowcrete Middle East has expanded from two people to twelve and has seen business triple in the last twelve months, with a turnover of £4 million. Flowcrete-approved contractor Pegasus, which is based in the neighbouring Emirate of Sharjah, will be installing the decking system in the podium car parks of the 26 tri-clusters, representing 78 of the development’ The Jumeirah Lakes Towers Development is a waterfront community located along Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed Road, comprising office and residential towers set alongside hotels and retail units. The towers, many of which are already under construction, are being built in clusters of three around four man-made lakes and among landscaped gardens. Flowcrete’s Deckshield system has been chosen – in a red and grey colour scheme – for its aesthetic qualities and its ability to bridge dynamic cracking, which can be caused by high density traffic. Deckshield’s anti-slip surface ensures safety underfoot and minimises tyre squeal.
