Saint Joseph's Basketball Coach Phil Martelli will host the 10th Annual "Hawks by the Bay" on Saturday evening August 16th from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Maynards Café 9306 Amherst Avenue in Margate City, NJ.
This informal gathering of Hawk basketball fans will feature Phil sharing his thoughts on the upcoming 2008-09 campaign at Saint Joseph's University including The Hawks participation in the Maui Invitational and the ongoing plans for renovating the basketball facilities on Hawk Hill.
A new feature this year is a bicycle ride from Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse in Philadelphia to Maynards in Margate for those interested in raising additional funds for the Coaches vs. Cancer Campaign. The general public is also invited to enjoy this fun evening with Coach Martelli and the Saint Joseph's fans. The cost for the event is $30 reserved including all you can eat and sodas. A cash bar will be available. Plenty of opportunities for photographs and autographs from Phil and networking with former players and Hawk fans at this Hawaiian themed event.
