Robbinsville, NJ - Loriana's Shoe Boutique and Accessories will be opening the second week of September, with a grand opening celebration on Saturday, September 27th, 2008. The boutique will showcase European imports from seven designers, including collections from Australian-born Mary Kyri (whose line is acclaimed in Italy), Olivia Rose Tal and Andrea Carrano.
Situated in the new Washington Town Center, a mixed residential and commercial community, the shoe boutique will offer clients in the area the luxury of no longer having a one-hour commute to shop for upscale footwear. Select designs will allow the client to customize shoes from a range of fabrics for an additional cost.
"Shoes have been my passion forever," says owner Lori McKiernan. A Brooklyn native, McKiernan was disappointed in the absence of luxury shoes in the New Jersey area. Even when she worked part-time at an upscale clothing boutique, the missing element was always the high-end shoe, forcing customers to wade through the mass-produced styles of discount chain stores, or to drive into the city for the finishing touch.
Loriana's will provide the shoe shopper an avant-garde atmosphere steeped in texture: artwork from the Mark Schwartz's High Heeled Art Collection will float from feature walls drenched in chartreuse, burnt orange and chocolate brown, while stone tables and alabaster fixtures reflect off a textured silver and burnished gold accent wall. Natural oak floors will balance suede ottomans and floor-to-ceiling cabinets displaying the shoes perched within niches.
Handbags will also be available for clients of Loriana's, including Miss Mak Handbags,The Billy Bag from London, Brazilian-made La Chica Chic and Piper Bags, touted as little Swarovski clutches.
