Eco-Populace, LLC
Kingsport, Tennessee, Eco-Populace, LLC, an alternative energy consulting firm, announces it will attend the Greater Tri-Cities Green Building Coalition and Appalachian Sustainable Development Seminar. This is a free event and everyone is welcome to attend. This event will take place on Saturday, August 9th, at the Jubilee House Retreat Center, located at 822 East Main St. in Abingdon, VA.
This event, sponsored by Spectrum Design, will feature the following companies and discussion topics:
Eco-Friendly Wood Products will be discussed by speaker Nick Safay with Appalachian Sustainable Development;
Sustainable Landscape Architecture, speaker Quinn Craughwell;
Green Roofs, speaker Ken Griffith from Dominion Truss; and
Eco-Populace, LLC will discuss energy efficiency, solar, wind, and alternative energy based systems. Speakers for Eco-Populace will be CEO Michael Reynolds and President Spencer Cross.
Eco-Populace will have a booth at the event and will speak at the seminar from 1:00 – 1:50 pm about Energy Efficiency and alternative energy based systems.
Directly after Eco-Populace, a movie called “Kilowatt Ours,” will be shown from 2-4pm. In addition, Appalachian Sustainable Development Executive Director, Anthony Flaccavento, and Spectrum Design Civil Engineer and LEED Consultant, Mark Garland, will facilitate discussion groups with the audience.
