The producers of the runaway hit “Supernanny”
Casting director Johnnie Raines tells Animal Radio® listeners that they’ll be looking for the pooch that’s an obedience school dropout. Raines says, “Don’t bring your dog to the casting call…if you can bring him, then he’s probably not the kind of dog we’re looking for. Just bring a picture and yourself.”
This is the first US filming of the hit program. Until now, ‘It’s Me or the Dog’ was filmed entirely in the UK. Animal Planet (Discovery Communications)
‘It’s Me or the Dog’ host Victoria Stilwell tells Animal Radio® that American dogs have more behavior problems than those in the UK. “I can make a better living here (in the US).” Stilwell is also currently a judge on the CBS show ‘Greatest American Dog.’
