Xinlock has developed a new entry door knob lock for the residential and light-commercial markets. By employing magnetic-coded technology (patent pending) on the basis of pin and tumbler lock mechanics, Xinlock is able to increase the overall security of a conventional lock 3-fold.
Lock-Picking
The embedded magnetic pins in the lock housing are not exposed to the key way, therefore, no lifting force can be applied to move the magnetic pins. Most standard forms of lock picking are therefore preventable.
Lock-Bumping
A growing and possibly more dangerous form of lock picking, lock bumping, transmits kinetic energy from the key to the drive pins, to split the bottom and top pins. The magnetic-coded technology that is employed in the locks require no physical contact points between key and magnetic pins, therefore no kinetic energy is transmitted. Additionally, current Xinlock knob locks are created with double-sided pin shafts which further reduces the effects of bumping.
Key-Control
Due to the magnetic cylinder elements embedded in the keys, there is a high degree of key control. Unlawful key duplications are minimized by limited access to key blanks (locksmiths)
