Technical requirement
Working background: in a store, a server with a workstation. The store operation, let us assume that the store operation is loaded on the server of a small network, the dongle is on the workstation, which means the dongle is locally attached. Once the dongle is plugged in, the server will validate the license to the workstation. The problem is, with people coming and going alongside, the dongle is easily to be lost.
A standalone dongle can only works in field, while a network dongle is kind of extravagant for a situation of a server and a workstation.
Solution—UniKey Standalone with a remote access
The standard UniKey can also work on the network, but it can only accept one remote client/access. (It is good for demo and special customer who need only 1 license).
In a store with a workstation and a managing server, UniKey is plugged in the server. When the workstation is running, UniKey in the sever which recognizes it and gives the authorization.
