The Fab Four will reunite for an evening of truth, tunes, and trivia during the 11th annual New York International Fringe Festival August 8th through the 24th. New to the Festival this year, the johnpaulgeorgeringo show features NYC native Dave Jay, who seamlessly morphs between distinct impersonations of The Beatles to take the audience on a unique magical mystery exploration.
About the show
johnpaulgeorgeringo is a unique one man show that combines historical fact and emotional truth. Completely improvised by Dave Jay, audience members guide the show with questions and requests for their favorite Beatle, such as “John, what was it like working with Phil Spector?” and “Paul, what was your inspiration for ‘Yesterday’?”
Developed in Brad Calcaterra’s RISK class (an ongoing one man show workshop) at the Sally Johnson Studio in New York City, the concept was created by Dave Jay with Director Calcaterra ("Dear Dad, Confessions of GoGo" with Monica West--official 2007 FringeNYC selection).

About Dave Jay
Dave Jay is a prolific performing songwriter/entertainer who began writing songs at age 9, imagining himself to be the 5th Monkee. Whether charming national television audiences on ABC-TV’s “The View” as their Original Song Contest Winner or writing music licensed by MTV for “The Osbournes,” Dave Jay injects his original brand of upbeat, melodic, lyric-driven, jazz-tinged pop/rock (a fresh genre he created, known as J’BLAMMO POP™) into every performance. His music, which has been compared to Elvis Costello meeting the Beatles in a tug of war with the Beach Boys, can be found on his latest CD, “Songs for Today’s Attention Span,” as well as his debut CD of children’s music, “Balloon To The Moon.” For more information about Dave Jay, visit www.davejay.com.
