Black History Month [BHM] is traditional known as a time to look back at the contribution of the black community in the UK. It's well recognised that your history sets the path for your future and no matter what happened in the past the future can always be created according to what you desire for yourself.
An event has been set up to run in West London that will recognise and honour black history by focusing on the future of the black community.
Getting "IT" Back is an event arranged by UK Personal Growth Coach Diane Corriette. "I was on the train on my way home and this idea was just 'given' to me" says Diane "I know how much the universe loves speed so I instantly came home and shared it with someone I trusted. Together we came up with the speakers, I arranged the venue, put up a site and 4 hours later it was all together!"
The event, to take place on Friday 10th October 2008, will encourage people to identify their "IT"
"We all have an "IT" that we wanted (or still want) in our life and may have given up. Maybe ITs the relationship you desire, or the business you want to set up, maybe you want to leave your job. During the evening we will help people explore and share what their "IT" is"
Not only will anyone who registers for this event get to listen to the speakers but it will be highly interactive, encouraging people to set a goal for themselves that they share on the night.
"The idea of sharing the goal is to not only seal the deal with your own unconscious mind but also to put it out there into the universe. When you do that magical things start to happen"
The speakers on the night include NLP Trainer, Hypnotherapist, and Life & Executive Coach, Marilyn Devonish and Motivational Teacher, Personal Development Trainer, and Best-Selling Author Dayo Olomu.
Marilyn will inspire people into action by sharing her "IT" and how she accidentally found it. Dayo will motivate everyone with his amazing talk "You Got The Power"
"It promises to be an amazing night" says Diane "And we want to encourage people to bring their teen along because they are our future"
Another great speaker added to the lineup is Sheila Elliott. Sheila is an Author, Speaker, Coach and Trainer in business and leadership skills. "Unfortunately Sheila is so booked up she couldn't make it to speak on the evening but she was so inspired by the event she made time in her diary to take part in a teleseminar before the event. Everyone who registers gets access to two free teleseminars and they get to meet Sheila who will focus on the mindset needed for success."
As the host Diane is committed to making this event a success. "I have the full support of the speakers who are all promoting it plus I am looking for opportunities to speak on radio and television. We want to pack the house out!
