Global Modelling Contest Will Not Be Marred By Rigged Voting Or Biased Judges

In 2007, British Television network ITV was heavily fined for “widespread and systematic deception” over its phone in contests, whilst in May 2008, popular Presenter Terry Wogan muted that he was willing to quit his role as the voice of the Eurovision song contest in the UK, over what he perceived to be a politically biased voting system. In July, the BBC was fined £400,000 by TV watchdog Ofcom for faking the winners of a variety of phone in contests.
