Late at night, on the 23rd July 1958 on a barren mountaintop in Devon, England, a Western Master of Yoga, Dr. George King, met with a Cosmic Master from the Planet Venus which forever changed the future of mankind upon Earth. Tremendous Spiritual Power from the Cosmic Being who we know as the Master Jesus, was sent through Dr. King and Charged the mountain as a New Age Power Centre. Thus began a Great Spiritual Mission called Operation Starlight, which was to give to humanity 19 Spiritual Power Batteries.
Four days later, the Master Jesus began to deliver His Cosmic Concept for the Aquarian Age, "The Twelve Blessings," through Dr King. These Blessings and Prayers were to become the sacred ritual of choice recommended by The Cosmic Masters for ordinary men and women to use on the Holy Mountains of the world in order to help their fellow men.
After three years of travelling with hardship and suffering, Operation Starlight was completed on 23rd August 1961 with the last mountain being charged in France on Le Nid d' Aigle near Mont Blanc. One of these mountains is in this country, Mount Wakefield, in the foothills of Mount Cook in the South Island. It was charged on 24th December 1960 by The Master Jesus.
This year The Aetherius Society worldwide is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the start of 'Operation Starlight' and the giving of 'The Twelve Blessings'. This will include Pilgrimages to the Holy Mountains and special services to send uplifting healing energy out to the world, together with public lectures to remind people of two priceless gems which lie at their feet.
