Due to their specially formulated construction, the metal detectable products can be quickly and simply found with standard metal detection equipment should any small pieces fall into the product being processed. Furthermore, most of the components in the range are blue as standard so they can be seen more easily.
A wide range of metal detectable products are available from SKF Economos, including seals, O-rings, gaskets and suction cups. The company also offers bespoke engineering plastics solutions for a diverse array of production line applications. In addition to their detectable properties, these components offer excellent resistance to wear, impact, and liquids, making them ideal for use as wear strips, guide rails, bearings, bushings, rollers, and other machined parts.
The latest addition to the sealing range is metal detectable sieve & sieve magnet seals.
Patented by Eclipse Magnetics, these seals are available as standard in blue, and can be fitted to the patented Eclipse sieve magnet or can also be retro fitted to existing sieve magnets & screens from leading manufacturers.
