The recent brochure is supporting “The Brass Ring, the Cure for Diabetes”. The Children’s Diabetes Foundation and the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes are committed to aiding children with Type I diabetes and their families. Their research centers are actively searching for a cure for this debilitating disease. Diabetes is the fifth leading cause of death in America and kills more people every year than AIDS and Breast Cancer combined.
Ellie was selected to be photographed for the cover of this brochure, and continues her personal campaign to find a cure for this disease in her lifetime. She has dedicated much of her time to several diabetes foundations, for photo shoots, various events and testing procedures.
Ellie’s Closet is committed to assisting Ellie with her goals, and in addition to a portion of their profits going to support juvenile diabetes research, they will be donating several outfits to the Brass Ring Luncheon and Silent Auction, organized by the Children’s’
