The SCM CHIPDRIVE MyKey has been designed to make it safer and easier for people to access Internet and information networks. It works with an application that fills in username/password logins and online forms.
To operate the device, users simply insert it into a USB slot on the PC and enter a PIN to authenticate the transaction. Once in place the device will automatically answer login password requests, supply access to personal data and fill in online forms, thus streamlining online shopping and other interactions with Web-based services.
Another important benefit of the CHIPDRIVE MyKey is that it offers an alternative to remembering multiple passwords and can be used on public networks and Internet cafes.
The device holds the encrypted information instead of the PC, so once the device is removed from the USB drive the information is not available to anyone else.
The CHIPDRIVE MyKey package includes the CHIPDRIVE MyKey USB Token, a pre-cut CHIPDRIVE Masterkey 24k chip card and accompanying software on CD-ROM.
