DM Communications towed bbi Displays’ patented billboard products on the East Sea along Gyeongpo Beach, the largest tourist beach on Korea’s east coast. The floating billboards were used as a unique way to promote the local Gangneung City government. The 24 foot long billboard was widely viewed by local beach goers and hundreds of thousands of tourists who according to the Gangneung City tourism department visit Gyeongpo Beach every day.
The amphibious billboard products are the creation of bbi Display Systems, a California based corporation. bbi recently joined forces with DM Communications, the exclusive representative of bbi Display Systems in Korea, to promote the versatile products and potential advertising applications. The Gangneung City campaign marks the first appearance of bbi Display’s patented advertising billboard products in Korea. bbi Display Systems is currently seeking international distributors in several worldwide locations.
