Magazine Launches As Soundboard For Christian, Single Moms On Parenting Issues

ESSENTIA Magazine (http://www.essentiamagazine.com) launches FREE, quarterly, Christian, email publication where single moms nurture, encourage, inspire and inform its readers on various issues relating to single parenting. These moms share their parenting highs, lows and in-betweens, and in turn may provide helpful insight to another parent who may be going through a similar situation. Although for single moms, this editorial is not exclusive to them.  All moms and moms-to-be can benefit.  

The main category of the magazine is called "Adventures in Single Parenting".  Other categories currently include "Poetry", "Mission Trips/Travels", "Arts & Crafts", "Recipes." (Other categories may follow later).

"Soul in the Mirror" is also published by ESSENTIA Magazine as a weekly, self-confrontation e-Note. Its purpose is to not only encourage, but also to get its readers to continuously examine their own lives in a biblical manner and avoid the hypocrisy of judging others.  This portion of the magazine currently goes out every Wednesday and is FREE as well.

ESSENTIA Magazine debuts by email late October of 2008.  It is based in Southern California and created by a mom who noticed a lack of social network in her area for Christian, single moms to exchange parenting ideas, thoughts, concerns, experiences, etc.
