(Musician sclerosis)
For the past twenty years Chris Cox has performed in the Dallas music scene in several different bands. The draw to Chris is his songwriting which is a mixture of real life story telling with impressionistic twist and a genuine sense of humor.
In forming the last band he was in his hands would tingle while trying to play guitar. At first, thinking nothing of it, he ignored it and pressed on but the tingling turned to numbness and the numbness into pain. It was then that he was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
This ailment appeared to be the end of his singer/ songwriter career as his hands no longer worked well enough to play guitar for any period of time but Chris did not give up. Learning to play through the pain and numbness, he completed his first solo CD with all profits from his café press store being donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
