B. K. Eakman, Education’s Whistleblower, Guest Speaker at 9th Annual Freedom21 Conference in Texas

PRLog (Press Release) – Jul 23, 2008 – Dallas, TX,  - For nine years Freedom21 has been at the forefront of advancing the principles of freedom in the 21st century.  This year the focus of the conference is to explore and provide alternatives to the UN's Agenda 21 Program for Sustainable Development. The objective of Agenda 21 is to integrate environmental protection, economic development, and social equity - under the management of global authorities.  It has had profound influence on public policy, including teaching methods.

In hardly a generation, the UN’s “education campaign” of the value of "sustainability" have permeated public schools and pushed aside the principles of personal responsibility and individual freedom.

As the author of five books on education policy, Ms. Eakman is a leading expert in the field of exposing the agenda to manipulate child behavior in America’s schools. Her latest book, Walking Targets: How Our Psychologized Classrooms Are Producing a Nation of Sitting Ducks, (Midnight Whistler Publishers, 2007), further establishes her expertise in alerting Americans to how the basic techniques used to psychologically assess children and their families is essentially a knock-off of marketing and advertising. These techniques are used to predict attitudes, including political reactions—called “worldviews”—and have been used by the Department of Education to collect data on kids and their families.

The people who attend Freedom21 conferences share a common desire to advance the principles of freedom - to all people - for all time. Freedom cannot be sustained in the presence of "sustainable development." The two concepts are mutually exclusive. Sustainable development can exist only when people are controlled by the government; freedom can exist only when government is controlled by the people.
