WAYNE, PA - Modu Tech, a building component manufacturing and framing company, recently selected the DEACOM Integrated Accounting and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software System to manage its sales order entry, scheduling, inventory control, production, labor data collection, document management, purchasing, and accounting in one software system.
The manufacturing arm of Heil Builders, Modu Tech produces wall panels, floor and roof trusses, and engineered lumber for general contractors throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. When Modu Tech goes live on DEACOM in November of 2008, the company will utilize the configurable software system to maintain optimum inventory levels and plan purchases with DEACOM Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and also bill customers based on the percentage of job completion through DEACOM Progress Billing, which are integrated functions of the DEACOM ERP System.
