Belly Buster Parties was started in 2006 in Fort Pierce, Florida and has consultants, called Belly Buster Buddies, springing up all over the country. Belly Buster Parties uses the patent-pending weight loss system developed by McCaskill. The consultants market their services, nutritional supplements and body wraps. The diet is a low fat, low carb plan developed especially for helping to stabilize blood sugar and lower one’s cholesterol and uses natural foods to help raise the metabolic rate. Most clients lose 3-5 pounds per week and do it safely with the support of the trained consultants and the protein snacks used on the program. A special feature of the program is cooking classes promoted as seasonal theme parties with prizes, games and dishes prepared from McCaskill’s cookbook for guests to try.
“We wanted to develop a program that was first of all FUN, but secondly, that would offer women a home-based business opportunity. I decided rather than franchising, I would give more women a chance to grow with their own business,” says founder McCaskill.
