The pasta salad mixes will be sold in taller bags for a sleeker look with greater shelf appeal, according to Trisha Anderson, Frontier Soups’ founder, “The bags will remain clear cellophane to allow shoppers to view the salads’ premium ingredients and interesting pasta shapes, such as orecchiette, radiatorre, cavatappi and gemelli,” Anderson said.
The Italian durum wheat pasta retains its shape with a more consistent cooking time and a superior taste and texture, she said.

Sesame Asian Pasta Salad™ combines radiatorre pasta with fresh spinach leaves and an Asian-spiced soy sauce vinaigrette.
Pesto Italian Pasta Salad™ conjures the colors of the Italian flag with red cherry tomatoes, fresh green beans and orecchiette pasta with a tangy mustard and red wine dressing.
The pasta salads are available in 13-ounce bags with a suggested retail price of $6.50.
