Artist Dan Rountree Reaches Representation Agreement With 4U Management

PR Log (Press Release) – Jul 21, 2008 – Dan Rountree’s art has shown in galleries from New York City’s Jacob Javits Center to the Blu Gallery in San Jose, California, as well as The Gallery on 5th in Naples, Florida and the Crimson Gallery in Sedona, Arizona.  Dan’s work in oils, watercolors, and pastels reflect the diversity of our world from the Islands of Greece, the Tuscany region of Italy, the hills of Tennessee and the desert near Santa Fe.  His art depicts the scenes he observes from his extensive travels and unique perspective.

Paintings and murals by Dan Rountree have been commissioned for numerous special events including the opening backdrop paintings for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, special events by Mercedes Benz International, the YMCA, NCAA, Salt Palace of Salt Lake City, and the General Board of Discipleship of the United Methodist Church.  

Nick Saban, the head football coach at the University of Alabama, commissioned Dan Rountree to reintroduce “Coming Home”, the 1988 original watercolor of Bryant-Denny Stadium.  The watercolor serves as a fund raiser for Coach Saban’s personal charity “Nick’s Kids” in 2008.

As an illustrator, Dan has created the artwork for numerous books and articles published by the American Bible Society in New York City and the Upper Room in Nashville, Tennessee.  

Dan Rountree, a plein air artist has included on his resume recently commissioned paintings of large oil panels of Cowboys & Horses and an incredible Africa Safari mural.
