Check that Chick Before You Arrive!

Is your chick certified pullorum free? Did you know that WI State Statutes requires it?

July 18, 2008 - PRLog -- Washburn, WI -   Are you planning on showing your chickens or ducks in either Open or Junior Class at The Bayfield County Fair this year?  Do you have the proper pullorum certification for your birds? Did you know the State of Wisconsin requires you to have proof of pullorum free status before you show your birds?


For those exhibitors (Open Class or Junior Class) who need to have a pullorum test done on their birds before the Fair, the Bayfield County Fair is offering two pullorum testing dates at no charge.  The chickens and ducks that you are bringing to the Bayfield County Fair may be tested on Monday, July 21st at the Bayfield County Fair Grounds in Iron River, WI from 3 pm to 6 pm or on Saturday, August 9th at the Ashland Agriculture Research Station from 10 am to 2 pm.
