Alana E. Peters is a research assistant at the Institute of Living, one of the first mental health centers in the United States and the first hospital of any kind in Connecticut. It is currently one of America's leading not-for-profit centers for comprehensive patient care, research and education in the fields of behavioral, psychiatric and addiction disorders. As a research assistant, Alana is primarily engaged in conducting interviews, evaluating medical charts and working with patients to gain valuable insight for various research projects. She has been with the Institute of Living since 2007 and has earned high regard from both colleagues and patients for her efficient service and professional manner. These qualities serve her well in all of her endeavors and she is equally accomplished in an academic capacity. Alana earned a Master of Science degree in neuroscience from the University of Hartford, is a member of the ATA and is pursuing a Ph.D. When she isn’t conducting research or studying, she maintains an active role within the community and supports several charities that benefit wellness. In her spare time, Alana enjoys travel, boating and being with family. In acknowledgement of her commendable career with the Institute of Living, Alana E. Peters is being included in the 2008/2009 Princeton Premier Registry where she will be listed among the most accomplished professionals and leaders of industry from around the globe.
