Spanish language, culture, art, and flamenco will be the focus of the Kids' Camp summer program presented by FlamencoTalk.com. During this fun-filled 4-day workshop students will experience communication in Spanish language, gain understanding and appreciation of culture through art, music and dance of flamenco, express themselves artistically, and much more.
The workshop is scheduled for July 28-July 31, 2008, 9am-12pm, at Studio Aíre, located at 1041 Goss Ave, Louisville, Kentucky 40217.
The following are some of the elements that will be covered during the program:
* Communication in Spanish language
* Spanish history, art, music, dance, and culture
* Connections between English and Spanish languages
* Social interaction, artistic expression, physical excercise and coordination
* Basic elements of Flamenco dance and rhythm
* Artistic expression through sketching, drawing, painting and mixed media.
