India’s Capability in Laser Technology is recognized by the World. Mr. Arvind Patel, Manging Director of Sahajanand Laser Technology Ltd ( SLT Ltd ) was the only person who invited to present a application research paper as well as deliver the lecture on “High Power Fiber Laser & Its Applications” at St. Petersburg , Russia at 4th International Symposium on High Power Fiber Laser and its Applications” , June 24-26 ,2008 .
The comprehensive and world wide event - “4th International Symposium on High Power Fiber Laser and its Applications” was organized in the field of laser physics, quantum electronics and photonics as well as high power fiber lasers during 24-26th June 2008 at St. Petersburg Hotel, St. Petersburg, Russia. The conference was focussed on creating an interactive platform for world’s laser experts in fiber lasers to share their experience curve , interact closely about their present research on fiber laser and explore future possibilities of development and novel application engineering in terms of fiber laser technology. It was indeed proud and prestigious moment for Indian Laser Industry as SLT was the only invited company from INDIA.

Mr. Arvind Patel (Managing Director)) of SLT Ltd has presented paper on Diverse Applications of Fiber Lasers ( Micro Joule , Milli Joule and High Power Fiber Laser applications like cutting, marking, welding, micro-machining, etc. in the various industries like Diamond, Engineering , Medical , Fabrication , Solar etc. Mr. Shaunak J. Dave ( General Manager – Marketing & Techno-commercial ) has accompanied Mr. Patel during this important conference.

The audiences were really happy to hear the presentation from Mr. Patel as this development in INDIA was really unanticipated in a country like INDIA. The paper was appreciated by many of Laser Experts and Research Scholars. It was indeed knowledge-sharing platform for laser industry with the insightful information on Fiber Laser Applications.

SLT Ltd. Has launched Fiber lasers in Laser Bruiting applications with the model called GIZMO as well as designed a special fiber laser for diamond marking applications. The Brahmastra- High Power Fiber Laser Cutting System is world’s first System incorporating linear drives and fiber lasers and world has now recognized SLT’s capability in laser technology.

Even if a novice person in the diamond industry is familiar with application of laser in diamond processing and always be thankful to Mr. Arvind Patel and his team of SLT Ltd. ( Sahajanand Laser Technology Ltd. ) for their significant contribution in Diamond Processing Industry . SLT Ltd has supplied more than 3000 laser systems to the various industries and exporting more than 20 countries .

In a separate note , SLT Ltd has acquired one German Company ( ELS – a high tech lasers source manufacturer ) last year as a part of their backward integration strategy to manufacture laser components in-house. Looking at the future demand of Fiber Lasers, the company has started its operations in Germany, USA, China and UK.
