Law Firm Launches New Human Resources Service

A Leamington law firm has launched a new human resources service to help businesses avoid recruitment pitfalls.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Jul 16, 2008 – A Leamington law firm has launched a new human resources service to help businesses avoid recruitment pitfalls.

Wright Hassall has hired consultant Tina Cook to offer regional businesses in-depth HR advice.

Tina, who has 20 years experience at senior levels within companies including Alliance Medical and Virgin, specialises in setting-up HR policies and recruitment methods.

To mark the launch of the new service, the 200-strong firm will host a half-day seminar with Tina on Thursday, July 24 to help companies find their way through the recruitment process, which, if not carefully negotiated, is littered with potential hazards.

Ian Besant, head of the employment department at Wright Hassall, will also speak at the seminar.

He said the event will cover every stage of recruitment, the legal implications of job offers and include a question and answer session.

“The seminar is for companies and organisations of all sizes. Human resources is a key part of any company and this will allow us to highlight good practices along with discussing the legal considerations important to businesses,” Ian said.

“By recruiting Tina, who has a superb knowledge of the field, we can now offer businesses across the Midlands a complete HR service.

“The seminar will be a first chance for us to tell people from across the region about our new service and we hope people will take advantage of it.”

The seminar will begin registration at 9am and finishes for lunch at 1pm. A place costs £50 plus VAT. Contact 01926 880793  or go to www.wrighthassall.co.uk for details.
