The Data Governance & Stewardship Community of Practice will offer a tele-gathering with noted Data Quality expert Danette McGilvray titled ‘The 12 Dimensions of Data Quality.’ The one-hour web event will take place Tuesday, July 22 at 11 AM EST and will be open to both members and non-members. There will be no charge, but advance registration is required, and attendance will be limited to 150 people. This data governance event will focus on data quality aspects of governance efforts, and will feature Danette McGilvray discussing ways to measure data quality improvements utilizing data quality dimensions. Data quality dimensions are aspects or features of quality and provide a way to measure and manage the quality of data and information. Each dimension requires different techniques, tools, and processes to measure, understanding the effort required to assess or manage each of these dimensions can enable you to better scope your projects by choosing the one that fits your needs.
