Would-be writers are one click away from telling the world about their ideal writing weekend, thanks to a new competition.
My Ideal Writing Weekend has been launched to celebrate three new Absorbing Writing holidays, which take place in spring next year.
The April and May workshops take place on the sun-drenched island of Sardinia, famous for its hospitality and staggeringly beautiful coastlines.
“We deliberately chose Sardinia as our writing destination for several reasons,” says Joanna Young, joint brains behind the programme.
“Leaving behind your normal environment means you also leave behind your preconceptions and stagnant view of the world and allow your authentic voice to emerge. On top of that, there’s a chance to get a tan while you write.”
