PacketLight Networks successfully completes Sun Microsystems’ Solaris

PacketLight Networks Ltd., a leading provider of Data and Storage Extension connectivity solutions, announced today that its PL-400, PL-100, PL-20 and PL-10 Data and Storage Extension connectivity products have all successfully completed the Sun Microsystems Solaris Ready Program, having met its testing requirements for system compatibility, interoperability, ease-of-installation, functionality, and network interoperability as defined and controlled by Sun Microsystems.

PacketLight’s variety of efficient connectivity solutions over all common WAN technologies (CWDM/DWDM, Ethernet/IP, and SONET/SDH networks) for connecting between the primary and secondary DR/BC (Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity) sites enables the user to select the WAN interface protocol according to its preferences.
